Otavalo – Salinas – Otavalo
Visit Imbabura, the most diverse province of Ecuador. From Otavalo, home of the country’s largest Indigenous market, to Salinas, where the culture and history of Afro-Ecuadorians is alive and present in its streets, Tren de la Libertad takes you through the history, music, gastronomy, crafts and the amazing landscapes of northern Andes.

IMPORTANT: A guarded parking area is available at Ibarra Station. Ibarra is 126 km north from Quito -2.30 to 3 hour’s drive. In Otavalo there are paid parking lots nearby the railway station. Otavalo is 90km north from Quito –a 2 to 2;30 hours’ drive.
