Founder
CAZHUMA TOURS was founded by Gabriela Carrión in the year 2000. Gabriela recognized a growing need for customized tours to cater to both international and local travelers seeking adventure, culture and the beauty of the diverse landscapes of Ecuador. She has a graduate degree in tourism from the UDA (University of Azuay), and herself worked for several years as a bilingual tourist guide, before forming her own travel agency and tour operation.
Marco Vicuña
President
Marco Vicuña – President. Marco is a graduate from UPAC (University Panamericana of Cuenca) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and has an MBA from UDA (University of Azuay). Although Gaby and Marco are both Ecuadorian nationals, they actually met each other in New York City, and after a decade in the United States, they decided to return to Cuenca, where they live with their two young sons, Marco Andres and Mateo.
