DAY 02 LIMA / CUSCO
Breakfast
Transfer to the airport for flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to selected hotel.
Afternoon tour of the city including the best of Cusco: the Koricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral with its magnificent chapels and baroque altars and paintings from the Cusquenian School. The tour also includes the surrounding ruins: the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Inca bath of Tambomachay, the labyrinth of Puca Pucara and the amphitheatre of Kenko (Private services).

DAY 03 CUSCO / URUBAMBA / CUSCO
Breakfast
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Visit the village of Pisac and attend the local agricultural open-market where artisans from all over the area
congregate to sell their crafts
Buffet lunch included in a local restaurant
Continue to the north to visit Ollantaytambo, a fortress built during the Inca Empire, excellent sample of
military architecture. Then return to Cusco.

DAY 04 CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast
06:00 Early transfer to Poroy the train station.
06:53 Departure by Vistadome train ride across the Andes to Aguas Calientes (2400 m / 7500 ft) at the
foot of the mountains.
09:52 Arrival and short transportation to the entrance of the ruins where the guided tour of the Lost City will start.
Buffet lunch at Machu Picchu Sanctuary lodge restaurant.
15:20 Take the Vistadome train back to Poroy train station.
18:50 Arrival and transfer to your hotel

DAY 05 CUSCO / PUNO

08:00 Departure to Puno by Andean Explorer train. Lunch included on board.

DAY 06 PUNO

Full day to visit Uros and Taquile islands (Shared speedboat with private English speaking guide). Visit to one of
the native Uros communities located on a man-made floating island in the lake. The Uros people live totally interwoven with the "Totora" reed which grows abundantly in the shallows of the lake.
Continue to Taquile. The community here lives in perfect harmony with the environment. "Taquileρos" wear colorful traditional clothes which they make themselves and maintain a strong air of group individuality.
Lunch based on set menu at Taquile.
In the afternoon, return to Puno.

DAY 07 PUNO / JULIACA / LIMA
Breakfast
Transfer to Juliaca airport to board your flight to Lima
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the selected hotel.
A 3-hour afternoon sightseeing tour of Colonial and Modern Lima passing by outstanding monuments such as the Government Palace, the City Hall and the Cathedral (closed on Sundays) at the Plaza Mayor. Visit the 17th century San Francisco Convent. Before returning to the hotel, short tour of the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores where there is a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.
